Foundations of the Future Campaign
Rotary Club of Monrovia and Rotary Club of Hamilton are working with Rotary clubs from around the world to raise $50,000 USD in support of the Liberian Learning Center, a Rotary Global Grant approved project. In recognition of this support, the “Reading Lounge” will be named and themed after Rotary’s Seven Focus Areas. The Center will house Liberia’s first comprehensive learning center and only public library and serve as a hub for personal and professional development including co-working and business incubation spaces.
Virtual Campaign Event: Saturday October 1, 2022, 2:00 pm EDT
As captured in the September edition of the Rotarian Magazine, this online fundraising event will feature the inspirational story of Empowerment Squared’s Executive Director (Rotarian) and the motivation behind the project Leo Nupolu Johnson and key project partners. There will be an exclusive update on the progress of the project and an opportunity for Rotary Clubs to come together to fund and name a Rotary Themed Room within the Liberian Learning Center.
