Removing Barriers
Our supervised sports and recreation programs include the Hamilton Downtown Sports League and Annual Community Cup Tournament. The program removes barriers that prevents marginalized youth and families from participating in meaningful sports and recreation activities for the development of healthy lifestyles. We use sports and recreation to develop constructive after-school activities for diverse groups of youth.
E-Movement
A sports and recreation program promoting healthy lifestyles and skill building through meaningful physical activity.

Free
On the days of the program, participants must come prepared wearing appropriate clothing. Empowerment Squared aims to prepare participants for post secondary education and/or employment therefore, regular, punctual attendance for participants is required.

Community Cup
The event, in partnership with the Barton Street Festival is a free multicultural event centered in Hamilton that combines volunteerism and sport with community integration. The festival brings more than 20,000 people each year and the Community Cup features community-building activities, including live entertainment, soccer games, arts and crafts, Kids’ Zone and a community section where local agencies will be providing information regarding their services and programs.
