Manager, Finance

Reporting to the Director, Operations and Administration, the Manager, Finance, is responsible for managing, controlling, planning, organizing and supervising all financial functions and activities across all departments at Empowerment Squared. This position is responsible for organizing and planning financial audits, evaluating reporting systems in place and developing new ones, and managing numerous grant budgets. In close coordination with the Director of Administration & Operations, the Manager, Finance will also seek opportunities for continuous improvement relating to financial management and efficiencies.

Coordinator, Administration

Reporting to the Director, Operations and Administration, the Coordinator, Administration is responsible for providing leadership and assistance with Empowerment Squared’s volunteer engagement activities and other initiatives for newcomer and marginalized families to further Empowerment Squared’s mission and vision.

Working alongside the fellow coordinators and the management team, the Coordinator, Administration will participate in strategic planning, outreach and administration.

Summer Intern, Administration

Two Available Positions – Federal Government Canada Summer Jobs program

Reporting to the Director of Operations and Administration, the Summer Intern, Administration is responsible for providing leadership and assistance with Empowerment Squared’s various summer and fall campaigns and other initiatives to further Empowerment Squared’s mission and vision.

Working alongside the leadership team, the Summer Intern, Administration will help with facilitating the campaign and participate in strategic planning, outreach and administration.

Summer Intern, Educational Programming

Two Available Positions – Federal Government Canada Summer Jobs program

Reporting to the Director, Operations and Administration, the Summer Intern, Educational Programming is responsible for providing leadership and assistance with Empowerment Squared’s Educational Programming programs and other initiatives for newcomer and marginalized youth and adults to further Empowerment Squared’s mission and vision.

Working alongside Coordinators of the organization, the Summer intern and fellow interns, will help with facilitating programs both virtually and in person and participate in strategic planning, outreach and administration.
