Leo Johnson Executive Director Originally from Liberia, Leo immigrated to Canada several years ago as a refugee. He is now an Economics and Political Science student at McMaster University, as well as a musician, former choir director and self-proclaimed soccer fanatic. When he finds time, he’s either playing the piano or running on the soccer field. Before becoming a founding member of Empowerment Squared, Leo spoke at a conference where he shared his challenges and successes of his life story to encourage young people to be active citizens in their communities. Above all, Leo wanted to reach out to the overlooked young generations and use their untapped potential to change the course of history against all odds. |
