Hamilton ON—United FC has worked hard for two years and their determination hasn’t gone unnoticed. An opportunity these boys could only have dreamed of is now within their reach. United FC has accepted an invitation to participate in the Arsenal International Youth Tournament in England this August and Empowerment Squared wants to make sure they have what they need to represent Canada in the best way possible.
Before they head overseas for the tournament of a lifetime, they want to show Hamilton what they’ve got! They have received an amazing amount of support in the community but are still hoping to raise the remaining funds they need for their trip.
So this Friday, July 23 at 7:00pm, United FC will be facing off against Ancaster SC in a charity soccer match at Ron Joyce Stadium.
Empowerment Squared has recently adopted United FC to ensure that the team remains stable and sustainable in the future. Although the formal adoption will not be launched until September, Empowerment Squared is excited to be providing support by hosting this charity soccer match.
Here is a chance for the community to support local youth as well as a way to solve that soccer withdrawal you’ve been feeling since the end of the World Cup.
Tickets cost $10.00 and can be purchased at the game. All proceeds from the match will be donated to help fund their trip to England.
If you can’t attend the game, Empowerment Squared will be providing continued support by accepting online donations for United FC. To make a donation please click here and complete the secure form.
